Bobbi Miller loves to draw, paint, and explore mixed media. She holds a BA and MS in Special Education, with an art minor, and has enhanced her fine art education with an
additional degree in graphic design along with numerous classes. The first class of regard is with the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg, Austria and
later, the Pennsylvania Academy of Art and the New York Studio School. She particularly enjoys connecting artists with other artists and is responsible for an art
critique group in her former North Carolina life, as well as spearheading the Teton Plein Air Painters in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Attending open studio sessions for figure and
portrait drawing/painting and practicing plein air drawing/painting underscores a representational and historic approach to foundational art making while studio work
allows for experimentation. Her current work is an investigation of abstracted nature using oil and cold wax medium.
