Anja Renkes

Gallery Intern

Anja Renkes is a member of the University of Notre Dame class of 2020. As an oil painter, studying Theology and Irish Studies in her undergraduate career, she spends time contemplating what it looks like to live life with grateful joy. She is thankful to be living in this valley, working for Turner Fine Art, where natural beauty and the land are immediately and abundantly available in both the environment and in magnificent artwork. She strives to connect people with the beauty and joy in artwork available at the gallery through social media and welcoming guests on the floor. She appreciates getting to know the artists featured at Turner Fine Art through interviews and phone calls, as she coordinates paperwork and paintings behind the scenes of each show. She is also an aspiring artist working to learn the land and how to share it through oils and watercolor. Plein air is her current focus and the task at hand.
