Edges define and dissolve. They are the quiet moments between presence and absence—where light meets shadow, form gives way to atmosphere, and clarity brushes against ambiguity. The Edge of Things brings together four distinctive oil painters—Kathy Anderson, Shanna Kunz, Scott Conary, and Eric Jacobsen—each exploring the evocative power of thresholds in their own voice and vision.

While unified by medium, these artists diverge in style: from Anderson’s intimate florals full of life and light, to Kunz’s meditative compositions that explore the emotional resonance of place; from Conary’s bold and textural still lifes that play with structure and shadow, to Jacobsen’s loose, luminous landscapes that capture fleeting impressions.

Together, their work navigates the boundaries—between realism and abstraction, detail and suggestion, control and spontaneity. This exhibition invites viewers to pause at these edges, and consider what exists just beyond what we can name.
