Millie Whipplesmith Plank’s woodcuts, shaped by her cattle ranching heritage, explore biodiversity and species interdependency. Working in a century-old barn surrounded by nature, she blends traditional woodblock colors with expressive lines. Her work is in the Leigh Yawkey Museum and the Maryhill Museum, and she has been an artist-in-residence at Glacier and Lassen Volcanic National Parks.
